These songs have been selected through time. I have some hundreds-ish songs on my computer and these stand out as ones that continue to please me after months/years of existing. Catchy, time resistant (timeless we'll see ;)), and fun. The following songs/acapellas were remixed.
"Sade For Machine Girl Fans"
Sade - Lovers Rock
Originally made as a joke for a friend.
"YDKMB"
Alicia Keys - You Don't Know My Name
Acronym stands for "You Don't Know My Breaks". First successful combination of Breakbeats/ChoppedScrewed music. More than two years old at this point. Made when I was going through the pits of a breakup. Making the song had the feeling of falling in love again.
"Intimate Rappers"
Eddie Kendricks - Intimate Friends
Rich Homie Quan - No Alibi ft. Peewee Longway
Inspired by Juke/Footwork. Mostly made in a favorite cafe of mine. Good energy in that place.
"Follow Me"
Was going through organizing old ableton project files and I completely forgot about this track. When I was making it I thought if I tried to force finishing the idea in the same sitting I would kill the idea. When I was going through the track again my brother made a comment that he liked it but it needed a second part. I decided to finish the track the next night and be done with it.
